Terms and Conditions of Mental Maths Competition - 2020

**In the event of force majeure disrupting the first round of examination in school, the examination will be conducted online and parents will be responsible to arrange internet connected smartphone / computer for examination.**

1.    Mental Maths Competition is for students studying in Sr. KG to Class 7.

2.    Main objectives of this competition are -

  • to promote interest in mental maths
  • to test speed & accuracy of arithmetic calculations
  • to inspire confidence in students that they can solve challenging problems themselves.

3.    Benefits of Mental Maths Competition to students -

  • It develops interest for Mental Maths at young age
  • Significant improvement in speed and accuracy of solving Maths problems
  • Helps them to improve their score in school examinations
  • Develops competitive attitude & builds strong foundation for future competitive exams.

4.    After enrolment, 3 workbooks and a model paper will be provided for self-study.

7.    Rewards & Recognition

A.    Grand Finale – cash prizes are given to top 3 positions and not ranks

1st prize – Rs. 10,000 /-          2nd prize – Rs. 5,000 /-          3rd prize – Rs. 3,000 /-

If there is a tie, first round marks will be considered to resolve it. If a tie for any position still remains unresolved, all prizes will be recomputed as per method explained on our website

Certificate of Merit to all Grand Finale participants

No cash prizes for Sr. KG, Class I & II since they don’t appear in Grand Finale.

B.    School level prizes – based on performance of first round examination

Top 3 students from each class will be awarded medals if 10 or more students participated in the class, else only topper will be awarded medal.

Gift voucher of Rs. 200 to the students scoring full marks

Certificate of Achievement to all participants.

Fees once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances. Admission is not transferrable.
